Doug Fraser spent a lot of time on the putting green at Atlantic City Country Club, sometimes practicing but often just fooling around with friends. His father, Leo, former president of the PGA of America, owned the place so the club became like a second home to the Fraser kids. It wasn’t unusual for Doug or his brother, Jim, to see an old man having lunch or puttering around the club.
